We have partnered with Intelec Systems to provide reliable and proven control systems that comply with all aspects of AS/NZS2243.8. Intelec’s core business is fume cupboard control and as such, these systems are designed and manufactured by experts in this specialised field.
We have replaced a number of systems on existing fume cupboards, improving safety and functionality. Where the fume cupboard design has allowed it, we have also provided a reduced environmental impact and considerable cost savings through efficient variable air volume control.
The controller options are:
Engineered to compliment the highly accurate variable air volume control provided by the Odyssey and FCV4, these autosash systems can also be retrofitted to most fume cupboards. The system consists of :
- Automatic sash lowering if the operator has walked away from the fume cupboard, but left the sash up. This auto lowering is on a programmable timer for complete control.
- Occupancy sensor so the sash does not automatically lower whilst the fume cupboard is in use.
- Sash obstruction sensor. This stops the sash lowering if equipment has been left in the sash plane and prevents accidents.
- The system can be linked to a roof mounted air bleed system if required for critical applications.
- Demonstrable cost savings with excellent payback time on initial investment, particularly in view of continually rising energy costs.
